Noel Keymer, a man for all seasons. Businessman, Copywriter,
Artist, Cartoonist, Journalist, Lecturer, Soft Skill Trainer, All Round
Ad Man (Specialist in Events, Exhibitions and Outdoor
Publicity) , Comic Collector (Noel has more than 1500 DC / Marvel comics) and last but not least – Radio Jockey AIR 107.1
FM & 93.5 Red FM. But beneath all these diverse personalities lie these
common traits. His irrepressible adventurous spirit, his God
fearing nature, his love for his fellow beings, his inherent
inbuilt streak of creativity, and of course his wacky sense
of humour!.

Noel started off his career as a trainee at a Multinational,
but felt lost in the ‘vast machine of humankind.’, so he
jumped at the offer from a family friend to join his Outdoor
Advertising Agency, where he soon made his mark. Hungry to
get into “Mainline Advertising” Noel joined Frank Simoes
Advertising as an Account Executive, where he later went on
to handle the 2 major accounts, Raymond's {J.K. Group} and
The Taj Group of Hotels.

It was at Simoes that Noel realised that there was an
untapped Gold Mine in Exhibitions & Outdoor Advertising. A
field not yet exploited by big agencies.

So he joined another Exhibition & Outdoor Advertising
Company, as a Commercial Manager, where by sheer dint of hard
work and by infusing and implementing New Marketing
Strategies, he was able to raise the companies T.O. from 65
lakhs to Rs. 1.35 crore.

When Noel left to start his own company, there was an exodus
of all the marketing executives, which inspired Noel to name
his new venture EXODUS (the second book of the Bible),
interestingly enough, EXODUS when expanded, reads as, Events,
Exhibitions, Outdoor Utilities & Services, which is exactly
what his company does.

Hungry to get back to his 2 old loves, radio & music, (Noel
used to do shows for radio in the 80’s) Noel jumped on the
AIR F.M. 107.1 Bandwagon as a Radio Jockey. and with his own
unique, friendly style has already carved out his own die
hard fan following. Briefly he also did a stint as an RJ at
Red FM 93.5 FM. before it became a Hindi channel.

Never a guy to sit on his butt, Noel then formulated and
floated SFX (Sound Effects) with old friend and now partner
Christopher Rodrigues. SFX is an Ad Agency dealing
exclusively with radio, (conceptualising, producing and
airing radio shows and jingles) and which has been
instrumental in getting names like Dominos Pizza, Indoors,
V.I.P, Sonora, Pizza Hut and a host of others to advertise on
radio.

Noel believes strongly in good time management. Apart from
his business he writes for a plethora of newspapers and
magazines, ranging from Bombay Times, to Femina to
Chitralekha and has published more than a 100 articles till
date.

Cartooning is another thing he has tried his hand at, having
created a cute character called Nutty, the strip of which was
carried in a magazine called Young Mother.

“What you learn after you think you know everything, is what
really counts,” is what Noel often tells his Post Graduate
students at MET (Mumbai Educational Trust) Bandra. where he
lectures on Below the Line Media. “Teaching is great fun,”
says Noel, and goes on to tell us that it was he who started
India's first Radio Jockey Classes, and some of his students
are already on the air at pvt stations as well as at
AIR, Mumbai as well as at other towns. Noels students are also
RJ's at Dubai and in England. Till date Noels RJ Classes have
been covered by Education Times, Intelligent Investor, Mid
Day, Savvy, Asian Age, Indian Express, JLT, C N B C and Star
Gold.

“Radio is the Future”, says Noel. And at present is looking
forward to more FM Radio Stations Happening in India so that
he can explore a rich future with them.

Radio Jockey Classes. Noel Keymer was the first Rj to start
Radio Jockey training Classes in India, at Lokhandwala,
Andheri (W). Today he also runs Dubbing classes as well an RJ
Class at XIC. Till date he has trained more than 100
students, many of whom are on air as well as on Internet
Radio. At present, he is writing a book on Radio Jockeying.
